CHA Shared Services, Inc. Partners with Symmetry Healthcare Strategies to Expand Staffing Services to Members

Date March 17, 2014

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLO. (Mar. 17, 2014) – Symmetry Healthcare Strategies and Colorado Hospital Association (CHA) Shared Services, Inc. have partnered to launch the Colorado Registry Program, a stand-alone, web-based, supplemental staffing service available to any health care organization in Colorado, free of charge. “Symmetry's staffing model has been successful nationally and provides our members with an easy to use, extremely practical, 100 percent vendor-neutral staffing option,” said Michael Scott, CHA Shared Services vice president. “We’re excited to add Symmetry's services to our existing staffing product portfolio.”

The Colorado Registry Program provides an easy and cost-effective way for health care facilities to obtain quality supplemental staff. By joining the program, members are able to reduce staffing gaps and ensure continuity of care via easy access to various nursing and allied health professionals. The program streamlines access to supplemental staff through pre-qualified staffing agencies. Ongoing compliance audits are performed on all agencies, measuring the accuracy, completeness and compliance of personnel paperwork and credentials. In order to provide facilities with ease of access and the ability to address time-sensitive staffing issues, members participating in the Colorado Registry Program can instantly communicate staffing needs electronically via the web-based software, ShiftExpress. ShiftExpress is used to support staffing programs for several state hospital associations and is currently deployed in more than 400 facilities and agencies nationally.

"Our unique experience in working with hospital associations, combined with our staffing program expertise and web-based vendor management system, ShiftExpress, allows us to bring real value to both the health care facilities and staffing agencies,” said Guy Evans, Symmetry president and CEO. “ We're excited to be working with an innovative association like CHA and look forward to helping their members be successful."
