IHI 5 Million Lives Campaign - Boards on Board

The Colorado Hospital Association is proud to have been asked by The Colorado Trust to be the lead organization for the Boards on Board intervention. CHA is thrilled to be part of this national initiative, and we will serve as the main resource to all Colorado hospitals for technical assistance and guidance for the Boards on Board initiative.

CHA is identifying ways to engage all of our members in this effort so that all Colorado hospitals can benefit from the resources that will be provided to make progress in this important area. In the coming months, CHA will be offering a series of educational seminars led by board governance experts, who will share best practices and tools for successfully engaging board and senior leadership. In addition, CHA will provide our members with valuable tools and resources to successfully develop and implement their campaign goals related to Board Governance.   

CHA's work on the Boards on Board initiative will be open and available to all CHA members, even if your hospital is not participating in the 5 Million Lives Campaign through The Colorado Trust grant. CHA would like to encourage anyone who has an interest in effectively engaging board leadership in quality and patient safety issues to participate in CHA activities related to board governance. This is an exciting opportunity for all of our members, and CHA will ensure that we help all of our members become involved in a manner that suits their individual needs.
