Information on PPE/Masks
Colorado hospitals are deeply grateful to their communities for their generosity and willingness to donate time and effort into making sure that health care workers have the personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to keep them safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hospital PPE supplies, including masks and gowns, remain critically low. Due to infection prevention concerns, some Colorado hospitals are not able to accept homemade equipment. Members of the public who are interested in donating homemade PPE should contact their local hospital to determine if they accepting donations.
Professionally manufactured PPE is still being accepted across the state. Please see donation sites below for small donations. Individuals and suppliers with large donations should contact the Colorado State Emergency Operations Center.
