ODHIN (Discharge Data Program)

CHA offers a robust data analysis and visualization tool through its Discharge Data Program, called ODHIN (On Demand Hospital Information Network), available as a benefit to all CHA member hospitals and health systems to help drive strategic insights for business development.

How it works:

    • Using billing data collected from hospitals monthly, CHA provides online dynamic dashboards that allow hospitals to understand patient movement and service line analysis.
    • Discharge data can be used to support special projects on behalf of members, like rural health specific dashboards, maternal health, and opioid reduction analytics using pharmacy data.
    • CHA can create unique dashboard views based on an individual’s role at a member hospital, including views for executive roles, business development, quality and patient safety, and others.
    • Dashboards in ODHIN can also provide insights on topics including: utilization data, payer mix, market share, market leakage, behavioral health, social determinants of health, and general population health reports.
    • Additional features allow users to create customizable peer groups to see how their organization compares to others based on the available metrics or slice.
