Regulatory Policy

CHA provides regulatory advocacy and education to support implementation of both state and federal laws. Advocacy is inclusive of both representation and leadership: CHA advocates on behalf of the membership in the regulatory arenas, and leads members and stakeholders to envision and guide the future of Colorado’s health care system. CHA works to identify solutions to complex challenges and proactive strategies to assist the hospitals today while preparing for tomorrow.

The guiding principle behind that advocacy is a health care system that is accessible by all Coloradans, delivers high-value care at the right time and in the right place with provider payments sufficient to ensure access, value, and innovation.

CHA regularly engages with a number of state agencies and departments on regulatory issues. Click below to see a list of regulatory issues broken down by state agency.
