2021 Legislative Session

The 2021 legislative session has concluded, and at the Association’s Board of Trustees’ direction, CHA remained an engaged stakeholder throughout because of Colorado hospitals’ commitment to improving access to high-quality, affordable health care, while working to mitigate detrimental policies to hospitals and health systems. CHA’s priorities for the 2021 session included:

• Respond to the ongoing ramifications resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and use lessons learned to facilitate improvements in Colorado’s health care system
• Protect against policies that will have detrimental impacts on Colorado’s health care system
• Work to support policies that provide critical resources to health care providers and improve clinical outcomes for Coloradans
