CHA Appoints New President and CEO
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLO. – May 4, 2022 – The Colorado Hospital Association (CHA) Board of Trustees has appointed Jeff Tieman as president and CEO. Tieman is currently the president and CEO of the Vermont Association of Hospitals & Health Systems (VAHHS), where he has served for nearly six years. Previously, he held critical roles as the chief of staff for the Catholic Health Association, one of the country’s largest networks of not-for-profit health care providers, and as the Washington bureau chief for Modern Healthcare Magazine.
“The CHA Board of Trustees, following a robust national search, is pleased to have found a leader who will help bring even greater value to our member hospitals,” said Rob Vissers, MD, chairman, CHA Board of Trustees and president and CEO, Boulder Community Health. “The Board was drawn to Jeff’s experience and energy and believe he will help propel CHA to the next level of service to our hospitals and communities.”
Tieman, who was raised in Colorado, will relocate and begin his tenure at CHA later this summer.
