This is a two-session workshop will equip participants with the fundamentals necessary to create their desired organizational culture as leaders. In this session, attendees will explore how cultures come to be and how leaders can influence and strengthen workplace cultures. Participants will also explore the nature of commitment and why individuals will commit themselves to certain groups. (1.0 ACHE qualified education credit)

Hardly a day goes by when there is not a story in the news about artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on society. New advances in technology and applications – both exciting and scary – seem to be occurring exponentially. This session will review the basic concepts of AI, discussing future implications for health care organizations. Steve will also cover some of the controversies in AI that now exist and how to begin developing a culture of AI within an organization.

Thinking about building a culture inevitably leads to questions about the desired outcome of one’s leadership journey. This requires consideration of deeply personal questions regarding what is important to them and what they want the result of their leadership (and life) to be. (1.0 ACHE qualified education credit)

Hotel Information

The 2024 CEO Forum will be held at the Four Seasons Resort Vail. CHA will cover the cost of your Thursday, June 13 night hotel, resort fee, and parking and will make your hotel reservation. If you would like to arrive on Wednesday, June 12, a day early, CHA will cover the cost of a total of two nights, resort fees, and parking for hospital and health system CEOs.

Hotel rooms are on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability. Additional nights pre- and post-event at a rate of $387/night plus resort fee, valet parking and taxes, may be possible at your own expense and are subject to availability.

Attendees are responsible for all incidental expenses. Upon check-in, a credit card will need to be presented to cover incidentals, extended stays, and early departures. Every effort will be made to book your reservations at the Four Seasons Resort Vail. The alternate hotel is The Sebastian.

Hotel rooms can be cancelled until Friday, May 24. For hotel cancellations received after May 24 or for individuals not attending without notice to CHA, a hotel cancellation fee will be charged.

Continuing Education Credits

By attending the 2024 CEO Forum offered by Colorado Hospital Association, participants may earn up to 5.75 ACHE qualified education hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.

Certificates of Attendance will be available upon request when completing the program evaluation.
