Colorado Hospital Association (CHA), the Colorado Medical Society, and the Colorado Association of Health Plans (CAHP) are united in opposition to House Bill (HB) 21-1232, a proposed state-run public option that would have devastating consequences for Colorado’s health care system.
“We are continuing to review the bill draft and will not take a position until the bill is introduced,” said Katherine Mulready, senior vice president and chief strategy officer, Colorado Hospital Association. “However, based on this most recent draft, we remain concerned about numerous components.”
